The Faculty of Law of UMM has built cooperation with various universities at home and abroad. Until 2020, it was recorded that approximately 50 universities had signed an MoU with FH UMM. The collaboration covers the tri dharma fields of higher education, such as: joint research and service between lecturers, counseling and training to the community, exchange of research results, exchange of lecturers, national and international scientific meetings, and guest lectures. In the field of scientific publications, such as in the development of scientific journals, exchange of scientific articles between each journal, to writing and publishing joint textbooks. Meanwhile, the field of student affairs includes research and compilation of scientific papers / PKM together between students, student exchanges, to the implementation of KKN and KKL / PKL Together. In fact, not a few also hold comparative studies as a means of exchanging information in an effort to develop human resources, curriculum, and the preparation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in each institution.

As for foreign universities, FH UMM has collaborated with BYU Law-International Center for Law and Religion Studies (ICLRS), as well as through the European Union-Erasmus + Program to gain insight, experience, knowledge and networks for UMM lecturers and students in teaching and learning.

The Faculty of Law of UMM has also built cooperation with various government and private institutions. Especially in the implementation of student apprenticeship activities, which are structurally carried out by the UMM FH Laboratory. Some of these institutions, such as the District Courts, Religious Courts, the Republic of Indonesia Police, Attorney General's Office, DPRD, BNN, Lapas and Bapas, Regency and City Government, BPN, BI, various LBH offices, advocates / Law firms and notaries, as well as BUMNs such as AJB Bumiputera 1912. , Asuransi Jasindo Persero, and PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero).

In order to facilitate FH UMM in its efforts to build public legal awareness through television and radio media in the form of counseling activities, FH UMM built cooperation with Tidar Sakti Radio and Agropolitan TV, whose broadcasts cover the Greater Malang area (Malang City, Malang Regency, and Batu City ). This cooperation has been built since 2008 until now.
