Dean of the Faculty of Law University of Muhammadiyah Malang Participated in Global Deans Forum of International Law School Association
Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Associate Professor Dr. Tongat, SH., M.Hum accompanied by Deputy Dean for Student Affairs Said Noor Prasetyo, SH., MH. participated in the meeting of the Deans of Law Faculties around the World who are members of the International Law College Leaders Association. The UMM Law Faculty is a member of the association.
The meeting was held by the Faculty of Law and Administration of Gdánsk University on 18-22 September 2019 in Gedansk, Poland which was attended by more than 60 law colleges from 55 countries from 5 continents. This meeting has 4 major agendas including:

Setting and implementing Standards of Law School Programs.

Chellenging Teaching, Controversial and / or Sensitive Subject matter

Administrative learning for Law School Leadership in rapidly involving educational dynamic

Exploring the growing need for interaction between legal education with government, business and technological development. This creates many avenues for scholarly collaboration and research.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang has a special mission in participating in the meeting, including:

Build collaborative networks with Faculty of Law from many countries in order to achieve international recognition. The cooperation that will be built is in the fields of students exchange, credit transfer, joint degree, visiting professor, etc.

Adjustment of the Curriculum of the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang with global needs.
