Malang (8/3) - Legality: The Scientific Journal of Law published by the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang has successfully achieved Sinta 2 accreditation in 2020. Legality is the first private university law journal in Malang to achieve Sinta 2 accreditation.

The success of managing Legality became a trigger for the enthusiasm of the Faculty of Law of UMM to re-publish a new journal in 2021. Preparations were made carefully, by each Editorial Team.

"The plan is to publish 2 new journals, namely the Indonesian Law Reform Journal (ILREJ) and the Legal Dedication Journal (JDH). The preparation process is quite mature, starting from improving OJS 3, collecting articles and so on. Just wait for the release according to the schedule." Said Dr. Tongat, Dean of the Faculty of Law of UMM.

Preparation and tutorial for OJS 3 were also carried out on last Saturday (6/3), at the UMM Faculty of Law Meeting Room, by implementing strict health protocols. The ILREJ, JDH and Legality Editorial Teams provided input to each other for the display of each journal.

"We studied OJS 3. Previously, UMM used OJS 2, now in early 2021 yesterday all journals migrated to OJS 3. It's a bit different in appearance and how it works, but overall we can understand it." Said Nur Putri Hidayah, MH., Editor in Chief ILREJ.

The plan, ILREJ will be the output journal of students' final assignments, both internally and externally. Meanwhile JDH is a journal that focuses on the field of legal service. The presence of ILREJ and JDH complements Legality, which has previously been published regularly as a legal research journal. (saf / hum)
