The Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang has a vision of "In 2030, becoming a leading study program in organizing higher education in law that excels in the field of mastery and application of legal science, to produce professional, humanistic and religious law graduates". In order to achieve this vision, as an organizer of higher legal education, the Faculty of Law UMM implements a progressive curriculum that adapts to rapid social, cultural, work world and technological developments. Since 2017, the Faculty of Law UMM has implemented the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) and National Higher Education Standards in curriculum development. By implementing the KKNI and National Higher Education Standards, it means that the Faculty of Law UMM implements an OBE (Outcome Based Education) based curriculum. A curriculum that focuses on learning achievement. This curriculum emphasizes the sustainability of the learning process in an innovative, effective and interactive manner. This is done by the Faculty of Law UMM in order to ensure the achievement of the profile of graduates as legal academics and legal practitioners who are professional, humanistic and religious and are able to answer future challenges.

In order to further support the target achievement, the Faculty of Law also implements the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program by providing freedom for students to be able to take part in the learning process outside the study program. With this program, in the 5th semester students can take part in the learning process in other study programs at UMM according to the student's request. In the 6th and 7th semesters, students can take part in the learning process outside the campus. Students can choose to take part in the learning process at another campus or take part in an internship program. This is done by the Faculty of Law in order to link and match between the world of education and the world of industry so as to be able to produce graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the industrial world.
