Emancipated Learning Programme (MBKM) is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology by providing space for students to study outside their fields of study, including outside the campus. Referring to the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning National Standards for Higher Education, Higher Education Institutions are required to facilitate students' rights to:

1. Study (take courses) in another study program at the same university for 1 semester or equivalent to 20 credits.
2. Studying outside the University, either at another University (in the same or different study program) or outside of higher education (non-educational institution) for 2 semesters or equivalent to 40 credits.

The Emancipated Learning Programme (MBKM) is a student right that must be facilitated by every university. Every student has the right to study other fields of science according to their passion. Students also have the right to study elsewhere outside their home university in order to gain knowledge, experience, and broader perspectives that can be used as provisions for independence in the future. Students can choose to carry out activities included in the independent learning program such as Certified Internships, Independent Studies, Teaching Campuses, Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), Student Exchanges, Thematic KKN, Humanitarian Projects, Research, and Entrepreneurship.

In order to facilitate student rights that have been mandated by the Ministry of Education and Culture through Permendikbud No. 3 of 2020, the Faculty of Law has established several activity programs that are included in the MBKM, including:

1. Student Mobility, included: 
   1. Student Exchange
      
   2. Credit Transfer 
2. Internship Program 
   
3. Community Services by Student (KKN) 
   
4. Field Research Program through Clinical Legal Studies (3 Series)
   
5. Independent Projects through Legal Skills Training (PLKH) activities (3 Series)
